Upon our arrival at Villa Warempel in Valkenburg, we were warmly greeted by the friendly hostess, Josine, who provided us with insightful local tips and a much-needed cup of coffee. The location of the hotel was ideal, just a short stroll from the charming town center and various attractions. The room, though a tad cozy for those traveling with extensive luggage, was impeccably clean and boasted a comfortable bed ensuring a good night's rest. One standout feature was the lovely terrace where we could unwind and soak in the picturesque surroundings. The in-room heating kept us warm on chilly evenings, adding to our overall comfort.One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast served in the cozy common room, which also doubled as a great space to enjoy a board game or a cup of tea. The option to prepare a packed lunch for a day of exploring the stunning natural landscapes was a thoughtful touch. The complimentary Wi-Fi and free parking further added to the convenience of our stay.In terms of amenities, the hotel offered a pleasant sun terrace and garden furniture for guests to relax outdoors. The availability of board games added a fun element to our evenings. While the absence of pets and smoking on-site may deter some, it made for a peaceful and tranquil environment.
